By pairing experienced directors with those seeking to enhance their governance skills, this program fosters a supportive environment for professional growth and effective board leadership.

The ICD Director Mentorship Program is open to ICD.D designation holders with extensive years of experience serving on multifaceted boards. Ideal mentors bring practical insight from complex governance settings and a commitment to ethical leadership and peer development.

Mentors are asked to dedicate approximately 4 hours to personalized mentorship, helping emerging directors navigate today’s boardroom challenges with confidence.

Tailored for emerging directors with limited years of board experience, the ICD Director Mentorship Program is designed for individuals who are navigating the complexities of today’s boardrooms. Participants must commit at least 4 hours to this growth opportunity, setting clear goals and proactively engaging with their mentor to deepen their governance knowledge and professional skills.

The ICD will begin accepting application from mentees in August, 2025.
